Affairs for a large Muslim community with
members in Portsmouth, Fareham and
Southampton. Hamid is a board member
with Hampton Trust, and also sits on
steering group of the Southampton BME
Housing project. He frequently hosts
programmes on Unity 101 community Radio,
with discussion on a variety of topics. |

Two years prior to C5 Consultancy, Hamid ran a project called “Race for Justice”.

The Project was commissioned by Hampshire and the Isle of Wight Criminal Justice Board, to increase the confidence of the black and minority ethnic communities in the Criminal Justice System.
The many initiatives carried out during this short period, received national acclaim, and earned Hamid coverage in many national press including, CJS Now. The project was also evaluated by Portsmouth University, which found that its initiatives has significantly increased awareness and confidence in the Criminal Justice System. |
